If Evan was a girl, he would have been Indigo, other boys names we were deciding from were Seth, Liam and Max.

If Otto was a girl he would have been Annabelle or Lucy, other boys names we were deciding between were Miles, Elijah and Patrick.

What did you…

Josh wanted to name our daughter Eralynn but it did:n’t feeli right to me. Adalee was her name. I just knew from day one.

If she’d been boy we liked the names Zander, Pierson and Gauge.

If Harley was a boy, we had the name Maverick picked out. If we have a boy someday that’s what we will use.

The other girl name we had considered was Haleigh.

If Xander was a girl his name would have been Aria. There were no other names for boy or girl though. It was either Xander or Aria and that was it.

if Kaelyn were a boy we were going to name him Alexander Mason Smith. I still like that name.

If Lowen was a girl we would have named her Emery Jean Brooks.

But now that I’ve had him we’ve changed our minds and I really love the name Abigail or Emily.

Luciano was a girl her name would have been Elena Rose, and if Adrian was a girl (saying they were both girls) her name would have been Kiara.

Xander was almost August. If he had been a girl I would have named him Reagan (Andrea hated that name).

if Auggie were a girl, he would have been Ravenna Lux or Ophelia Amandine.

we’re still hanging on to those because we love them. maybe we’ll have a Ravenna or an Ophelia next time.

auggie is always trying to whack himself in the wiener while enjoying some naked time.

as if that weren’t disturbing enough on its own, every time he manages to hit his crotch, he laughs maniacally.

and then proceeds to suck his toes and hum.

auggie totally nailed matthew today while they were playing SuperBaby.

like a good wife, i laughed and ran for the camera.

auggie rolled over yesterday a few times, but we never caught it on video. we tried again today and after much growling and moaning, he finally toppled over again.

listen to that mom voice i’ve got going on.

edit: i just noticed he drooled on his play mat and then face-planted right into it as he rolled.

what a pro.

I’m curious. How many of you had your water break on its own and how many of you had to have your water broke? And how far along were you?

My water broke on its own and started my labor. I was 41 weeks, 2 days and I…

my water broke on its own after 30+ hours of labor. i started pushing about an hour later and had auggie an hour after that.

our-vocation-is-love asked: Hey :) I know this probably isn't relevant but if you use steroid creams for eczema please check out itsan org, to find out about steroid addiction. (only saying because hair falling out is a symptom of steroid addiction) :)

thanks for your concern and for the heads up! i don’t use steroid cream (since i couldn’t during pregnancy and got through that flare, i figured i’d just do the same this time), just super thick Eucerin that puts the ‘greasy’ in my ‘greasy mexican’ status.

my hair falling out is from pregnancy hormones vacating the premises. it became really thick and full during my pregnancy, so i’ve been waiting with dread for the day that it would start to thin out. the upside is that it will take less dye now… i know, i’m reaching.

ah, the joys of motherhood. :)
